Agreed. GMC ain’t no better. My 2500 AT4 is fine but my son’s 2023 AT4 1500 is a huge piece of **** and they couldn’t care less.

40,000 miles and the engine wiring harness needs replaced. That’s only $8,000. FU GM
These stupid sons of bitches told me they would give me a Electric rental car. I told them to go **** yourself. American made junk.

problem is not in the truck, but all the add on crap... all the keyless this, remote that, lane stay bs, wireless whatever.
get away from computers controlling everything. a wire from a rocker switch to a bcm to roll up a window when a contact switch will work is silly... then add in all the "safety" mandate lane stay, back up, warning crap and it is a recipe for problems...
my 05 2500 ran perfect with just a few maintenance items, suspension, water pump. injectors, fuel regulator.. lly duramax, sold it 430k on it to a buddy... talked to him yesterday, its near 500k and still running strong.... he did manage to break a front axle acting like it was a mud bug... but they were originals...

^^Truth^^
The more mandated BS and Gucci options on a vehicle the less reliable it becomes.

yep.. they are supposed to be making a ev truck with nothing but lights, speedo, and batteries.. roll up windows, no radio, not that i want a ev, truck but i bet it does better than all the rest on the market....
i am shopping around for another duramax. but it will be a 7 1/2 to 9. nothing newer...

I presently drive a basic 2007 Ford Escape with 128,000 miles on it. I have had no major problems. I doubt that I'll ever own anything new than 2010.
