I have been a Chevy owner since I got out of high-school over 50 years ago. Had very few problems with them until I bought my 2015 Silverado. Lifters failed at 128k miles. Everything that has been built since 2009 has been garbage and they just keep getting worse. Then they keep adding more computerized garbage that no one wants and the prices are insane.
My next truck won't be an American brand, that's for sure.
