Well, it's time for my friends to visit me we have been friends for 55yrs, it's going to get interesting, most of my friends are either Far Left or strict Conservatives, my wife is a Conservative who will argue with anyone. It's our 1st time getting together after COIVD. I bet my Left friends will be wanting to go shooting everyday they are in my house. It kills me that they vote for no Guns in the US, but love hitting the gun range.

i have several lefty friends. We don't discuss politics though....

All my childhood friends live up north in Maryland, Delaware, NJ and Pennsylvania. They're all conservatives and wish they had access to own firearms like we do in the south

My conservative friends all applied for a NYC gun permit, cost $1,500 each. Wait time 9-15 months. And, if you put on the paper work for home protection and not concealed carry, its another $1,500 to change.

I wish I was still in contact with some of my old childhood friends. We lost contact over the years and many of them aren't on social media so they're tough to track down. I know a few moved out of state and that makes it even harder. I still am close to a few that stayed in the area thankfully.

Fortunately, though, all my friends stayed relatively conservative. I haven't made new close friends in the past decade. Even my girlfriend leans right even though you would think she was a liberal. I wouldn't mind being friends with a liberal, but politics would have to never be spoken, which is impossible for them.
