Yep…of the 38+ (?) yrs we been married/together , I have always respectfully told my wife what I was doing and where I was going. I usually invite her to come along if she wants but if it’s an all guys trip or whatever, she understands and never tries to stand in my way. Usually I am telling her what I am planning and ask her what she has planned that week/day/whatever , to see if we clash on things. But she is the same way.
We look at it as we are married but not imprisoned to each other. I love her very much and always will. I feel she feels the same way about me.
( I have never strayed/fooled around or whatever and to my knowledge she hasn’t either.)

Same here. Granted, we are only 16 years into marriage. There needs to be some level of individual left to make the couple strong. Neither of us married a rug.
