But on a serious note, they have a strong recoil spring for that hot round.
It should rack a bit easier after you break it in or you can go ahead and smooth up the slide and hammer contact points

Yeah it definitely takes Hulk strength with the hammer up!

Also you can drive the pins out of the trigger and the safety will pop out. Then you can reinstall the roll pins so the holes don't look so bad.

I'm just going to order an OG trigger for mine this weekend. But if I wasn't, this would be a good option.

Yes. That seems to be a characteristic of these models. My Zastava does this too.

Hahaha dude this thing is tight as hell! But if I cock the hammer back the slide is smooth. It’s like there’s a **** ton of resistance when trying to bring the hammer down with the slide. Maybe just needs to be shot a lot
