Lol I actually never joined the clan. The game wanted me to do something and I couldn't figure it out and just gave up. I eventually gave Game of War too.

Tips and tricks. Is there a way to command your troops to attack certain structures or is that all automatic? Whats a good city layout. Right now I'm moving my TH away and in the center putting a mortar in the middle of my resource banks with walls around them.

Forget about protecting your TH. Protect your loot. Only upgrade your TH when you have nothing else to upgrade.
