Well I found a picture of a top break just for you now this one is out of my area of expertise so I can say is it's a smith & Wesson .38 made around 1880. Was a gun that someone gave me

Unfortunately, I'm a "top-break-o-phile". I like revolvers more than semi's, but I have a certain attraction to top breaks. Next march when I turn 21 I'm going to get one of those Uberti schofields in the 5.5" model for .38spl
