There's just something about that 6.5" barrel and the Cokes that just 'do it' for me. Probably my favorite gun in my collection.

Yes, they do- simply gorgeous.Tossed the Rosewood Cokes on the No Dash 29 today... I think they belong on it.

I have a 638-3 with a 2.375" barrel. I have never seen another like it. Do any of ya'll know if this was a special production run or a gun that nobody bought or anything about it. I have seen plenty of these with 2" (or 1 7/8") barrels but never another one with a 2.375" tube and a full under lug.
I've seen a few of those 638's with the 2.5" barrel. They're supposed to be awesome shooters!
I hit a 2 by 4 at 100 yards with it on the 4th shot. The board was stuck in the ground and was about 5 feet long. I had to aim about 6 feet over the top of the board and I had a spotter.
There have been quite a few posts of J frames lately. Here is one that is unusual. Yes, that is a grip safety. I would not say it is rare, but it is seldom seen. It is the airweight verson of the M40.

Very nice, JWC....that gun just exudes class. Love those smooth high shoulder magnas! A lot of man hours went in to making those!
