I was rubbing a rag over a few of my non collectible uninteresting Smith & Wesson's today. My beautiful 19-5 with Patridge front sight is in a box the guy just threw in. Never took notice of the label but maybe the box is more collectible than the gun LOL

Before I knew any better. 29-3 Magnaport and recut crown back in the mid 80's. Mount added mid 90's.
Deer Slayer and occasionally silhouette knocker downer. She used to sport a Burris but it got moved over to the 460.

Is that a Round butt frame? I had a 617-1 4" with a round butt frame and haven't seen another one since...I think it catalogues as starting the RB frames with 617-2

I shot a few holes in paper tonight with my stable of 617's. I even threw in a 648 just for good measure (and a SW1911 and a 469 and a 659 and a...)!
