Classic wheel gun porn....

Lizzie B's fav... probably the least appealing of her wheel guns, but man the mojo. 5 screw pre 15 Combat Masterpiece with Rogers Combats. Older Armallloy finish. The leather was made in Chattanooga TN circa 1960.

am i the only one that finds rugers more attractive than smiths?

Some of the time. It depends on which guns we are comparing. Not all Smiths look great, and Ruger does have some beauties. Overall, I like the looks of Smith revolvers the best, but some of the Ruger Vaquero variants are gorgeous.

I love Rugers, but there are a couple of common traits about them I do not like. The hammers. Most Ruger hammers are ugly. Too plain, a little short, and not the best purchase. Same with their finishes. Very plain. They are made to be rugged and I appreciate that, but that doesn't mean they can't improve their looks and still be rugged. Some of their single actions can be excluded from these common themes.

IMO, Smith revolvers are the most beautiful handguns ever made. No, I am not a big fan of Colt. I am a fan of Ruger. I am also a fan of Smith.
