Here's what I've got.

S&W 19-4. This one has unopened tools, box, and papers.

S&W 686 no-dash. This one hasn't had the recall done. No box/papers/tools.

Very nice. Curious, why have you not had the recall modification done by S&W?

Hey, while I cannot speak for XDfense, I can tell you why I have not had the recall done on either my M586 or my M581. They are both nickel models and the nickel is in very good condition. The value of a nickel Smith is based on the condition of the nickel finish. While I am sure that the craftsmen at S&W would respect my nickel models, I don't think they would protect the finish as well as I would. The recall, while necessary for those that carry the M586/581 as a duty weapon, is really not relevant to me. I think the possibility of someone scratching the finish on one of my nickel guns outweighs the good that can come from the recall. Just my opinion, and I am sure there are others who feel differently. BTW, I don't think you add value by having it done, or not having it done.
