Classic wheel gun porn....

I went thru my accumulation to find three nice sets of Coke stocks. I have one set on a 1959 Model 27 8 3/4", one on a 1961 Model 27-1 6", and another that I poached off a pre-29 that I sold.

They are all walnut diamond stocks with a lower finer (smaller) checkered base. At a rear view they look like a coke bottle.

It's a fun hobby.

Very nice Chuck.
I only have two Model 19-3's, and I bought one from you (lettered to 1973). I think you still have another one. ;)

Your former one was an early build and has a darker finish on the stocks. These are rare frames with a trigger guard cut-out and both sides have the rare two-side relieved stocks. S&W also sold them without the wooden box and Bowie knife.

I found a third one at a S&W gun show, but the price was too-high.

Yep! The only commemorative that I own. I just love the matching knife.
It's the same for me + the indented factory trigger guard on this frame. S&W had a few left-over frames that are 1973 19-3. I saw one only once with a big price. The stocks are also rare as only a Texas Ranger. We have the wooden boxes.
