Value question:

S&W Model 36 in Nickel with 4-digit s/n. No box or papers. Smooth period-correct aftermarket grips. I did not check for any "N" stamp, but it looks legit.

Any ideas?

He also had a Marlin 39D, awesome condition and was asking the B-M-B price of $950! I actually laughed out loud when he told me both prices.
