Classic wheel gun porn....

Ok, here is a different category than what you guys are showing, but I still think this is nifty. 1956 Ruger Single Six "Lightweight" Tri-Color. This is a 3-screw flat latch single action revolver with alloy frame and cylinder. s/n is early 200xxx, which dates the gun to 1956. This revolver was only made from 1956-1959 and was one of THE earliest cast alloy steel guns ever made. Total production from 1956-1959 was less than 12,000 units. It has some shooter's wear on it, but it's still plenty cool I think.

the old "lemon squeezer" s&w dated to somewhere between 1898-1909 and it still keeps good timing, the firing pin is still strong, and the empty brass ejector rod works as it should. smith&wesson knew how to build them back then
