For the record, I have never stepped foot in Clyde's and never bought anything online from them.
With that said, I side with Clydes.
First, why do so many people get all up in arms over a headline that will paint a picture with one side in mind.....its biased and unfair (fox and any other media outlet).
Second, as a true combat vet and someone who is eligible for a "ptsd dog", it doesnt give you a pass to pipe up and toss the "disabled vet" card on the table every time you are questioned about any old thing. This vet had a duty to recognize there was a dog in the business that seemed agitated, and work with the store owner for an amicable solution, not just posture up and cry discrimination.
Its been said before on here and I'll second it. If this guy is so distraught and jumpy when he leaves his house, he may not need to be owning firearms to begin with. Vet or not.

Clyde is a VET with 3 combat tours in Iraq and is a dog lover who carries his Doberman Pincer with him everywhere...
..so why does Clyde NOT deserve the same respect and benefit of the doubt that Murray has received on this thread?

I'll have to agree with this, they will still get my business. I don't see where there is a need for a dog for PTSD. . . that's what medicine is for. This guy seems to be looking for a payout , knowing everyone will jump on the " Hurt a Vet's Feeling " wagon!!

He was wrong for not leaving. No doubt about that. I dont know why he would not leave. I would. Just seems kinda crazy to boot him out when he needs that dog.

same here. Its not a pass. I would think a simple solution from a sales point of view would be put the "security" dog away while he looks. He is a customer after all. Its his place though. So he can do as he likes. I wont shop there though. Why? Because more could have been done. Instead you just tell him to leave.
On a side note...Acworth Guns allows any dog that doesnt **** on their floor.
