Cobb county fair

Is it legal to conceal at the Cobb county fair. I’m no lawyer, but the law reads public gatherings. I’m not sure if the North Georgia State fair qualifies

Does it really matter? A large public event where there is always a potential for issues...I'll worry about that after the fact if it means protecting my family.

Concealed means concealed. I don't recall there being metal detectors there 2 years ago.

It's held at Jim Miller Park...same location as numerous gun shows in the past.

OP, Georgia legislators repealed the state's public-gathering law in 2010 and replaced it with a more defined list of places off-limits for carrying firearms, which the Governor signed into law. There is no law prohibiting licensed carry at public gatherings in Georgia.
