I think you'd need to replace the cylinder. The ratchet is milled into the cylinder back if I'm not mistaken. Could be part of the ejector rod assembly though. Make more sense.cmshoot palmettomoon
Just for laughs this Colt would need the following parts?
Clyinder stop with spring
New Ratchet
Latch lock spring and maybe another latch?
Would that make it a shooter y’all think?

I’ve got literally 11 dollars into this gun so I’ve got some room to get partsFor the parts and labor that MIGHT make that Colt serviceable, you could buy a decent one.

10-4. Sorry for the persistence, I just hate how it’s not fixable. Just feels like defeat. But I’m going to take your advice and just sell it as a parts kit.........and I'm advising you not to do it.
Parts for guns that haven't been in production for a century are not cheap.
The parts will need to be fitted by someone that knows what they're doing.
Once it's opened up, there's no telling all the parts that are going to need repaired/replaced.
You can buy one of those in safely functioning condition for $300 or so.
For $11 you got an outstanding deal on a wallhanger.
