Yes, you can carry at the event per Georgia law. Only place they will prohibit it is in the speaker's hall if President (Trump) is speaking. The Secret Service prohibits it in that hall.

Last time the NRA Meetings were in Atlanta, I open carried a 1911. Only time anyone noticed was when I got asked what I was carrying. I had about a 30 minute conversation with Les Baer in their display area about the 1911 and why he does not have a bobtail version in his product line.
