Of your C&R guns which one:

You would never part with under any scenario:
Egyptian Rasheed (I worked way to hard to find another after I traded my first to bulletpaluza!)

Is the most attractive to you:
Finnish Sako M39 (I dont know why, but the Finnish pine tar finish, plus the fact it looks like a regular Mosin on steroids with shiny silver parts etc....just looks exactly like a WWII rifle should look)

You paid too much for (relative to value):
French MAS 49/56 (Had been looking for one and didnt care, had to have it)

You got the best deal on:
Albanian SKS. (Neither he nor I realized it was Albanian at the time)
SVT40 is a very close second.

You were surprised with how well it shoots:
K98 and Finnish 39 (Both very much more accurate than I would have guessed)

You were surprised with how poorly it shoots:
Egyptian Rasheed (Wont win any accuracy contests)

Is the most fun overall to shoot:
Quality Hardware M1 Carbine with Rockola barrel.....not even a close second.

I'll play!

You would never part with under any scenario:
M1 carbine my grandfather brought back from FIJI after WWII.

Is the most attractive to you:
M1 Garand is classic sexy. 1st runner up would have to be Swiss K31 or maybe mod 1917.

You paid too much for (relative to value):
SVT-40. But I was flush with cash at the time and I always wanted one.

You got the best deal on:
Was on a business meeting in Dallas (TX) and brought my empty gun case with me. I swung by the gun shop between meetings and purchased my first K31 with matching serial bayonet and cleaning kit.

You were surprised with how well it shoots:
Swiss K31, well, not really a surprise. The mod 1917 seems to be VERY accurate. These old man eyes, though!

You were surprised with how poorly it shoots:
91/30

Is the most fun overall to shoot:
Garand or carbine, depends on how frosty I feel

Most attractive right now....kind of eyeballing a swiss k31 classic has them. I love all American weapons. Missing a 1903.

Best deal $90 mosin. Those days are long gone.

Accuracy - Garand when tuned and 1895 Chilean Mauser. Good lord.

Hot mosins can be a hot mess. Go slow with them.

Hard choices.....
Most attractive: winchester 1895 lever action in '54r, US army Springfield 1863 Trap Door

Paid too much: unfired Uzi model B carbine w/conversion kits

Best deal: :spy:

How well it shoots: Springfield 03a3, Luger
How bad it shoots: MAS 36 or broomhandle mauser
Most fun to shoot: Launching rifle grenades from Yugo SKS

One I would never get rid of:
1863 trapdoor 45/70 that my grandpa gave me that he dad gave him. I consider the families not mine.

The most attractive to me:
My svt-40

I paid to much for:
Ag-42 ljungamn but only because it's more then I wanted to spend on one.

The one I got the best deal on:
My Rasheed thanks daytonlawvol daytonlawvol

Suprised how well it shoots:
T53 when you look down the barrel you can't even see rifling. But is still dead on. Don't know how.

Surprised how bad it shoots:
Any 303 Enfield. It's no wonder we had to step into WWII.

Most fun overall to shoot:
French Mas 49/56 just love this rifle.

This is assuming all the answers have to be rifles you own.
