To protect the Nation’s law enforcement officers by banning the Five-seveN Pistol and 5.7 x 28mm SS190, SS192, SS195LF, SS196, and SS197 cartridges, testing handguns and ammunition for capability to penetrate body armor, and prohibiting the manufacture, importation, sale, or purchase of such handguns or ammunition by civilians.

I think this bill is stale? It was introduced as H.R.3497 in the 114th Congress (2015-2016). There have been no actions on this bill since that time, and the FN 5.7 has been released to market.

This Zombie thread reminded me to check on the AR57 website.... Again.
No joy, still same statement about working to get back in production. I've called, emailed, checked site for a couple years. All kinds of excuses for not being in production. Wish they'd just admit they're dead so I can move on.
