Converted my Saiga .410 this morning

Took about 45 minutes....They are about the simplest project out there. Moved trigger group forward with new 922r compliant parts. Installed the Pistol grip and the Collapsable 6 postion stock.

howie...you just need to apply for an FFL and open shop with the custom work and refinishes along with the gunsmithing you do.
 
So Howie, sometimes I skip a hint along the way; is this an AR or AK conversion?

I would say it's neither.... Saiga's look like AK's anyhow but come with the Monte Carlo stocks and no pistols grip. The typical conversion consists of moving the trigger group forward so you can install the pistol grip....Drill out 5 rivet heads and simply remove the original trigger group. Installing the new parts are a breeze. Nothing wrong with the original setup.....but this just looks cooler and gives you a bit of a better handle on things...
