Agree with everything mentioned above. Stick baits have become my go to - to the point we started making our own. We have all the colors already mentioned but our most productive on all water types is what we call Mother Earth. See pic.

I’ve had good luck with black lizard chartreuse tail, and motor oil worm with chartreuse....no weight....
