My daughter works with a disaster response team for Ga. She said I might have been a little premature
when I went out and bought two cases of duct tape, 12 cases of beer, and a 1000 yards of plastic.

Obviously she is wrong, you can never buy beer prematurely.

Yeah I was going to say, there's no such thing as too much beer or duct tape.

The media wants a panic, panics make big money. Would not surprise me if this is used as a means for more government involvement in healthcare.

Well I'm not quite ready to fall in to the media's trap just yet. I'm not saying it's not a bad virus but I believe the media is blowing it out of proportion. So far, with what we know, the common flu kills more people globally. And according to researchers, other versions of coronavirus have already been in the US. Lastly, an average healthy adult wont be severely effected. Like the flu, this virus mainly effects people who already have a weakened or less developed immune system. Most people who contract this coronavirus will be fine.
So no I'm not quite ready to start panicking over this yet.

It always increases my suspicion about how serious a situation is when the government finds it necessary to have a press conference to assure everyone that everything is okay.

They just did that.

Less than 10 cases in the US as of now, I have no concern about it. When it hits 1000 I may have an interest.
