Somebody please explain to me why the death rate percentage is based on how many have contracted to virus instead of on how many have recovered from the virus.

Currently
17,496 have the virus
362 have died
536 have recovered

How is this a 2-3 % death toll ?

Once again, common core math.

I have noticed the yes vote is starting to climb. According to a few doctors on tv today, the next 2 weeks should provide key insight as to the infection rate in the USA. Both seem to think the cat was already out of the bag.

I still believe the real numbers are much higher than those reported....

Look at these numbers above... 426 deaths on 19922 Cases...That is 2.1%...

But, of the 19922 cases, only final outcomes of 1049 are determined..(426 died and 623 recovered). That leaves 18,873 still sick... And may either die of recover...

And that is assuming these numbers are accurate
