There is a test available now (US govt not interested) that tests to see if you have antibodies for this virus. Essentially, you had it and got over it.

I would pay for this if available , esp if the govt was not involved.

Just talked to my SIL in upstate NY. She's a nurse and just received an email from the governor's office looking for medical staff to man the emergency hospitals and the hospital ship that's coming in.
She's 60 has copd and 3 grandchildren she's raising.
I told her not only would I not do it I'd probably be getting the hell out of dodge.

This is a common side effect of the regular flu as well.
