I imagine an EMP would do a lot of damage to a civilian power grid, but a metal ship is very well shielded by its hull and overall construction.

I imagine they would hit back.

And we might get to see the answer to Fermi's Paradox unfold in front of us.

Once intelligent life has reached a certain threshold, it kills it self. Imagine humans being around for 200,000 years. The A-bomb was developed and within about 15 years humanity was on the brink of total annihilation with the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Cuban missile crises would not have happened if Kennedy had not put nuclear missles in Turkey.

Hundreds of thousands is 200,000 or more. 100,000 is one hundred thousand, not hundreds of thousands. The world death told is currently reported to be 141,971, which is not "hundreds of thousands".

The MDs and RNs have been getting squeezed for at least the past 20 years. They used to own and run the hospitals. Now they work for the national corporations, Insurance companies, and bureaucrats who own and run the system.

Interesting you bring this up. I work in healthcare and was talking to a doctor friend of mine the other day. She brought up some very interesting thoughts on this and shared this video with me about silencing doctors during this Covid crisis. Thought I'd share.

My wife and I estimated Chinese deaths to be about 500K when based on Italy's rates.
