Not for masks specifically, but Hibiclens is what I use for cleaning wounds, washing when someone is sick, etc. We don't use anything antibacterial in our house.

I think China decided it was cheaper to let most of Hubei province die. almost all of the deaths(reported) are at ground zero. Seems if you are locked up in your appt building you have a good chance of dying...elsewhere with medical care, you do a lot better. the scary is...wtf happens if we see other major outbreaks of it OUTSIDE of China?

I got a friend at CDC that’s part of the containment/research/response group on this thing. They are working 15+ hours a day, 7 days a week. A non profit is bringing in food and water cause these scientists won’t stop to eat or drink. They are thinking about making one day a week off mandatory.

Mandatory days off, and 12 hr/day max sounds better.
Tired people make mistakes, and CDC’s had their share over the years.

These people are running on obsession. They aren’t being made to stay, they are obsessed. That doesn’t change what you guys are saying at all. They need rest to stay sharp. I’m glad we have these folks around though. I’m praying for them.

If true, we are already behind the curve trying to contain this thing.
