Even some of the Chinese people believe it was from a lab. Considering the amount of censorship there, that is saying something.

In regards to bats being the source:
From what I've been told, people in Wuhan don't eat bats. It is possible to have them imported from another region but that isn't the norm there. People in Wuhan that have pointed this out and complained that is unlikely to be the cause of the outbreak have been censored.

Yes. China is now being forced to admit that the bat soup story was BS. They can't hide it any longer.

This is starting to pop off now with SK joining the highest alert crowd. All countries around Iran are shutting their borders.

And on a side note, it's warm in Singapore. Spring will probably not slow this down. But Singapore was prepared for this type of event, and they have slowed it down. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/new...pore-moh-update-new-cases-discharged-12462176

COVID-19: South Korea raises virus alert to 'grave' as infections surge

I have already been thinking about this. Holding up at the house for a month or two is easy in regards to food and water. In regards to work, Not so much. And I’m just a little guy with 6 employees.

No easy answer. If your business doesn't allow for remote work from home, then you have to create a sanitary work environment with redundancies built in to keep things running. But if there is no market to buy things, then it won't matter.

I'm not so much worried about the virus itself, but I am worried about potential panic and/or economic devastation. Our government needs to start communicating.

that is directly where I am getting my skepticism from. I have already read that link. My concern is this

"Surgical N95 respirators are designed to reduce but cannot eliminate the wearer’s exposure to airborne biological contaminants. They do not eliminate the risk of illness, disease, or death."

To me this means the wearer is not the top priority, but the ones exposed to the person wearing the mask would be most protected from anything the wearer had.

While this is a concern, it is not my primary concern. I am more worried about protecting myself from others that could be carrying something I could catch airborne.

Would like to find something that has replaceable filters and filters are widely universal

These are my Vanguard fund options, I'm currently in Retirement 2035 funds but want to move everything to something less risky for the next few months. Any suggestions?

Yes they are meant to slow down people who are already sick from infecting others. People that should either be at home or at the hospital.

Unfortunately unless you are going to protect your eyes, hands, and have the ability to decontaminate when you remove these items, there is not much that can be done with a mask alone. That's why it's best to just stay home.

I don’t really see any lack of communication. I have not learned anything from my friend at the CDC that isn’t public knowledge. His team is trying to make sense of BS out of China and looking very closely at all the real data we can trust outside of China. At the same time they are trying to perfect a new diagnostic (the first one had problems) and working on a vaccine.

The truth is it’s just to early to tell what the hell is really going on. Most everything is conjecture at this point.
