No offense, but, as an American official (if I were one), I would also demand complete security on all of these Quarantine rooms...

This "superspreader" thing is insane. As a norm,apparently 20% of virus victims are responsible for 80% of total infections. For SARS and MERS, an infected person typically spread the disease from 2-5 people. One "superspreader" with SARS spread the disease to 82 people. They seem fairly tame in response to single cases, an knuckling down on clusters, like the cruise ship.
