I ride a motorcycle myself, watching the video, the car was right on the motorcycles ass, less than 1 car length, that's not tailgating, on a bike, that's murder. I've lost several friends due to be struck from behind by cars. The video and news commentator even says it doesn't show what started the road rage, but I'll bet the driver of the car was pushing the biker and he pulled the weapon on him or her to back off. Wrong thing to do, but it did make the car fall back.

Impossible. This is ODT we got it ALL figured out.
That's why I said "The story isn't over". I fully suspect the bike rider gave the responding officers reasonable justification for his actions and without the car driver's side of the story (and it says they have an ID on him so it should come out) then they had no choice but to let him go. The fact the car rider hasn't come forward suggests to me he may realize he's just glad to not have been shot, perhaps deservingly so.
