Coyote issue

I notice that the OP wrote "deter" not "kill" and I applaud him for that. He seeks advice to achieve a solution where he will not run afoul of the law.
I am of the belief that if you choose to end an animal's life you do so in a quick, humane manner in consideration of the life you are taking and not in a method that would result in an intestinal blockage that would cause days of pain and agony prior to death.
I am not judging anyone - we are all entitled to our own beliefs - I am merely stating what I personally believe.

I agree with you, and I'm judging. Baited Treble hooks for an animal is sick - stick to fishing!

If you're close to the Winder, Dacula, Monroe areas I will trap them for a small fee. I'm a licensed and experienced trapper. If interested shoot me a pm.

The ones ones telling you to use treble hooks or sponges are encouraging you to not only do an inhumane act but an illegal act also.
