Crappie bite on Weiss?

Looking to drag the cruiser down to the marina next week.

Damn !! That brings up some memories….i ain’t been crappie fishing on Weiss in a few years !!
There used to be some of the south’s biggest and best crappie over there. I had a buddy that had a place there back a decade ago, we would go on a Fri night/Sat morn and stay until Sun night getting beer buzzed and fishing off the dock. Always had the grill cooking with a few fish and some steaks . Fill up a cooler to bring home !! lol. 😆

Well we can set it up where you can come along if you want. I’ve got to go to Blairsville to get that m1919 and to woodstock to drop this min-poodle off but after that I’m open.

I appreciate that !! I’m not too sure I would be able to do it without it being a big deal though. I am not in real great shape physically anymore….cant walk, blah,blah blah…. Ithink I would be more trouble than it would be worth to you or anyone to hassle with right now.
Hopefully around mid…towards the end of summer I may be in better shape to get out.
But thanks for the offer. It means a lot !!

We didn’t hit Weiss but we did hit the pond today. Tried fishing at all different depths but no luck. Got a couple of bites but all I had on me were pink salmon eggs. Only got to go for a cpl of hours. I think my boy talked all the fish to death. 😂
