Crappy Weather Coming For Rifle Weekend

I killed a fat doe Wednesday evening in the rain. It was cloudy with a steady rain. I had more deer move past me than on most calm cold days. I will never sit in the house on a rainy day again.

I apologise for my earlier comment regarding the doe being fat. I do believe I was body shaming the deer and have learned from my mistake.

It does but if a deer is downwind you’re getting busted anyway.

Have to disagree with that. I do pretty stringent scent control and I've had deer within 10 yards down wind on the ground in warm weather and they never knew I was there. The way the wind shifts in Georgia, that's your only real defense. LOL!
