North East GA  Custom Holsters, Leather/Kydex Hybrid IWB/OWB

Just got my Shield hybrid today. Two days from my order! Couldn't be happier! Kydex holsters are a dime a dozen nowadays. The difference with an Aegis is that the leather quality is outstanding. That is why it feels great from day one. I had a Galco King Tuk, which is a comparable holster at a higher price. The Aegis blows it out of the water. Plus I have an own option. Perfect! I'd recommend this holster to anyone.

I also bought some of the mosin pouches. Very cool too! Perfect for my belt when I'm hunting or hiking. I'll strap one in my car for cool, extra holding space.

Keep up the good work! Glad you're a Georgia business too!

Aegis, are you going to be making any leather lined/lined with something kydex holsters?
funny you should ask that, I just picked up a large deer hide yesterday... its incredibly soft, I just cant decide which side should be on skin... if it was winter id say screw you guys and id stitch a quilt or something. its amazing stuff. Look for a Kydex IWB Tuckable Minimalist Holster w/Leather Backing so its comfortable from day one...soon. Might be a few weeks while we test adhesives etc.
If I do leather inside Kydex options, they will likely be one off custom requests, unless I get alot of requests for them. Its a pain to dial in retention with leather on the inside.

Leather quality. I started all this because the others I tried were not up to par with what I knew I could produce, 5-8 week waits, 2-3weeks of uncomfortable break in. Glad you like it. Show it to your friends. :)

I just got my order in today. Wow, these truly are "comfortable from day one", and you can't beat a two day turnaround time. I've been carrying in a few different brands of hybrid holsters for the past 3 years and this is the most comfortable one I have had yet. You can definitely be expecting another order from me in the near future. :thumb:

I just went through this entire thread, whew! These holsters even LOOK more comfortable than my galco kingtuk for my G19, however I just got a ruger SR22, I was hoping to see some shots of a holster for it, any chance you could PM me some photos?
thanks! and will be ordering one for the G19 soon, I've got a rivet thats about to pop....grr
