Well you will lose some stiffness and structural integrity. Expect to add at least 20-25 seconds to your lap time at the Nurburgring.

Well I'm a firm believer in having fun with $300.00 cars. In 2012 I paid $500.00 for an 88 Sentra coupe that I fully intended to do the same thing to. But then I drove it home and let my wife see it. And you know how that goes. "You are NOT cutiing up a perfectly good car. What the hell is wrong with you... Blah blah blah..and whatnot."
I would much rather use a car that's a coupe than a hatch. But 2 door Sentras and Tercels are getting scarce. And Neon coups still bring around $1500.00. So the rule is,we ruin what we brung.
