CVA and Bergara barrels

What CVA rifles have Bergara barrels? Just interested if they are worth looking at.
Supposedly, the Scout single shots are. All I can say is, my .308 shoots stupid good, and has a helluva good trigger for a $300 rifle.

Prolly the best bang for the buck in the rifle world right now.

I bought the thing just because it was short and threaded, not expecting much.

It wound up being a rare case of gettin' more than I paid for...

I have a few, if u are looking for one! What is new in the package never been fired! One is new with a stainless brake on it! Do not quote me one possibly is 36 and one possibly 243 both stainless I think Greg

My CVA Apex has interchangeable Bergara barrels. I have a .50 cal and a .270. I just put up a post about the stock and Bergara's customer service if you're interested

Begara's customer service is top notch.

I traded for a B14R Carbon last year. it had a very sticky bolt even without a cartridge being fired. Come to find out that's why the guy got rid of it. So, I called up Begara explained the situation. They said send the whole rifle back for a head space issue. I said it cannot be a head space issue it does it without a round in the chamber. Luckily, I had another B14R and when I used that bolt it felt normal. Guy finally realizes I know what I'm talking about sent me a label to return the bolt, 4 days later I had a new bolt in hand and worked like a charm. I had a great experience with their CS team.

I was looking at the 899 one but for that price I might as well go with a Bergara rifle. I was curious to see if the CVA rifles were as accurate as the Bergara rifles. Thanks for the info guys!

I saw this one at the local gun shop and wondered if it was on par with the Bergara rifles. Someone had mentioned they had Bergara barrels and I was wondering if anyone had the bolt action CVA rifles. The CVA Cascade XT has a number five contour fluted barrel. Right at 700 bucks looks like a good deal with the MOA accuracy guarantee and 14 days you get to try it out. Strong confidence there. Not bad for 700!

CVA is Bergara. Same company. Both under the BPI outdoors banner, both offices in same facility in Lawrenceville, Ga.
