Cylinder Slip, skip new revolver.

Doesn't happen every time but often enough to make me uncomfortable...
Ruger SP101, THE TANK in 357...
Very, low round count l, great lockup, but occasional cylinder slip with a hand turn rotation. No push-off, baby is TIGHT!

There is almost no wear. Could it be the spring lock? The locking dog? How about a stop with slight play?

I have never seen this on any Ruger... I hesitation on sending it back...

The locking cylinder stop is offset to the horizontal frame so it has a slight angle to adjust for cylinder diameter.

Fairly sure of the fix BUT where would you start?

Do you normally shoot S&W revolvers? Could you be short stroking and not allowing it to fully reset?
