CZ?

I just bought a CZ 75 BD Police and cannot wait to get a CZ P-07 Duty and maybe a Rami.

Skip the P07 Duty and pursue the alloy Rami. The P07 reminded me of my Glock 19. Very good, just not special. The PCR D and alloy Rami ARE special. Both are EXTREMELY accurate pistols, they possess tolerable weight, but have a double dose of exquisite FEEL. All in all, the two best of the 28 I've had in 4+ years. Get a Rami. I drove almost 4 hrs round trip for mine.

Come to the south side if you care to shoot mine.

The first time I shot my -85 it was a bullseye at 10 yards. And I'm a bad shot!

My only complaint is the rough machine marks on the inside but lemme tell you - they're cosmetic only.

I've been wanting to do a reliability test with the 75 and a glock 17 but I don't think I have the funds to run either until they fail. I've but thousands of rounds through various 85s and 75s in the past ten years without any failures.

If you're looking for a reliable, all-metal 9 in da/SA - you won't find anything better for $500ish.

I like sigs too but the 226/9 series have too high of a bore axis when compared to the cz and the glock (for me).

DA/SA is perfect for me.....I have a Rami BD and it has become my everyday carry, hands down. I think they only make it in alloy frame now......

My wife tested 11 different 9mm pistols...she shot the CZ last. When she was finished she smiled and said "this is the one!". We bought a CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical on the spot.

If I drink the CZ kool-aide I would be looking for something in 40 caliber, lightweight, preferably adjustable sights and a grip frame not as wide as that of a Browning Hi-power. I've owned Hi-powers in the past and never been happy with the "feel".
I'm using Hi-power as an example since many of the comments refer to the CZs as a much improved Hi-power.

I have a Hi-power and a CZ. The Hi-power feels like a brick compared to the CZ. The CZ is way slimmer in grip. It's night and day.
