How do you like it? Thinking about getting the wife an AT4 Yukon with the 6.2L.
That's good to hear. 15mpg isn't bad at all considering the weight and power. The extra mpg of the diesel doesn't make up for the price difference of the fuel and the increased cost of ownership in my opinion. I want her to get the XL, but she's dead set on not wanting the extra size.I liked my 23 Tahoe hc with 6.2 but it made a little transmission noise that aggravated me so got a Suburban hc, very happy with its longer wheel base and 2 shocks per wheel driving on these rough dirt and gravel roads here in the boonies. Turning radius is incredible, fine tune ride height and selectable 2wd,4wd or AWD is great for where I live. Interior cargo space is nice, I hardly need to drive my Silverado anymore for hauling. Milage is like 15 mpg, 350-375 tank, not so great.
Bought my nephew the identical suburban but duramax diesel, he goes almost 600 miles before E, and the acceleration is just slightly slower, he and I did a few stoplight races head to head, most non car folks would never notice.
Thanks! The blue is beautiful. It's the new model Ford Bronco. Hers has the 2.7 V6.What is that, I love the blue.. and is that a sliding hardtop ?
My wife is ready for a new vehicle, she wants a Jeep but I have been trying to talk her into a Bronco, I love them! Thanks! The blue is beautiful. It's the new model Ford Bronco. Hers has the 2.7 V6.
We have the front and rear roof panels removed in the pic, the fronts are like t-tops and the rear is one panel. We didn't remove the very back part, it unbolts.
We did take the doors off later and go cruising, it's a fun vehicle that we didn't know we needed...

They both have a huge following and tons of aftermarket. The Jeep moreso than the Bronco. If you go with the Bronco, I highly suggest the hard handles for above the doors and the rubber center console cover. And definitely look into the 2.7 vs the 2.4, especially if you do your own oil changes. My wife is ready for a new vehicle, she wants a Jeep but I have been trying to talk her into a Bronco, I love them!
