I know, even harder to find with ///M package. I was fortunate enough to fall ass backwards into what I think is one of the greatest BMW's ever made. Would still have to say the E39 M5 is the best of all time though. Just too expensive to maintain.

She clocks a respectable 0-60 too. With a stick it's about 5.5. My E36 M3 was quicker off the line but this kills it all day with top end.

The E39's are pretty bad arse, I just favor the E46 much more. They are such fantastic all around cars, BUT if you got to have a 4 door, I would def bump up to the M5.

The maint is a bit absurd on either car though!

Sweet G37! My buddy has one that is tastefully modded. They are really great cars for a fantastic balance between, power, handling, and ride comfort!!

The E39's are pretty bad arse, I just favor the E46 much more. They are such fantastic all around cars, BUT if you got to have a 4 door, I would def bump up to the M5.

The maint is a bit absurd on either car though!

You ain't lying. I do as much of the work on mine as I can which really helps but parts prices are pretty absurd at times. General wear and tear isn't too expensive most of the time. And I agree, the E46 is the best looking 3 series of all time. With the M3 of course wearing the crown. God help me if i ever win the lottery, I'd have at least 10 BMW's of all walks and ages of life. 850csi all the way. They truly are the ultimate driving machine.
