I've seen this pictures before as well but heard that it was the false one, guess we'll have to wait to find out more info. If that is it though looks like one of the newer American made ak's, psa ak?

I think that report is wrong. The couple of photos I have seen of the weapon used indicate it was a Saiga in 7.62x39.

It WAS a Saiga but it was a 74 in 5.45x39. I don't know how the SKS ever made it into the conversation unless that was the other rifle he had at home.
