The news story missed a huge point.

They are not selling exclusively to departments. The are selling these weapons to LEOs, EMTs, and troops for personal use.

This I what kills me about this. I can understand a discount for public saftey and military. But why does me being an EMT have anything to do with why I should be able to buy an AR vs a guy who is a plumber.

Just watched Sheriff Scott Berry on WSB ch2. I wish all Sheriffs had that kind of guts. He told it like it is. Most would say no comment.
