Dana Safety Supply's Change of Policy

So your parent company has chosen to not sell a rifle to citizens who are legal allowed to own such.

DDS hope threads like this will appeal to the pocketbooks and wallets of your "bad parent" company. They are poor decision makers, the AR is the TOP selling rifle in the USA......who deliberately takes themselves out of the market? Thats some way off thinking there and not 2nd friendly, I too wish your local store the best.....

Maybe you can get together and start your own store......because it looks like youve hit a wall with this. I know corporate owners and operators will need to see the negative impact before they backtrack but it would be too late in this industry..........theyve dealt a serious blow to DDS's name and rep.

My sincerest empathy.

No their avatar isn't wrong, they are open to the public, the parent company just doesn't trust the public.

I hope the policy is reversed in the near future. I won't make a blanket statement about patronizing the business, nor will I attack the messanger. I'll only say this: my money will go where I can find the best deal. I'm a self-centered pragmatist.

I am sorry your parent company has decided to crap the bed. I won't ever do business with DSS again, even though the guys in the store are great. I am sorry for the employees as well. You have no decision in this, but you will have to hear and feel it's effects. Good luck to you in future endevors.

I'll not spend another red cent there. I feel for the local employees, they're the ones that'll suffer financially. But I'll be damned if I support a company that denies the purchase of legally owned products.

It is well with in the rights of the parent company to make this decision. It is also within my right not to shop at any store that decides who is allowed to purchase a firearm that is legal to own by citizens who meet the guidelines to purchase a firearm.

Sometimes companies make bad decisions, sounds like they have and this small part of their overall business will pay the price. Farewell dss.
