OK, this still bothers me so many levels. Especially what it could lead to.
Question for you guys: what other stores sell only to LE? I think there's a Lawmen's safety supply in Columbia, SC....dunno if they do/don't sell which items to who.
If you were going to try to make a legal case, is there anything to stand on? Is it LEGAL for a private business to sell only certain items to certain individuals?
OK, how about this: we only sell this and this to only whites, or some other 'racist' decision. But, even then, is that even illegal?
What about the FTC? Fed trade commission? Doing some reading, there appears to be a need for an unfair practice to unreasonably hurt a consumer, and when you can go buy an AR reasonably easily somewhere else (well, not now, but a month ago....) then it would not necessarily unfair.
WHAT IF 90% OF STORES HAD THIS POLICY? Honestly supply and demand would keep that from happening. This just is not right.

you should right a bunch of emails. To every person who made that choice, even though the damage is already done and spreading on the internet like a wildfire.
Mike, I hope they listen. I've always had the impression that you guys were great. Between the politics and the economics these days life is sure full of questions and concerns but I really hope you gents find other employment or split off and open your own place. In fact, if you DO decide to open a place that TRULY supports the legal gun owning community, I pledge to make a trip up to buy at least ONE gun from you if for no other reason than to support your independance from a company who clearly is willing to throw our independance away.
