So far, they have only mentioned AR's

Law Enforcement is defined as Law Enforcement (LE), Public Safety, LE Academy Cadets, EMT/Firefighters/Paramedics, Military Personnel, Corrections Officers, State Licensed Armed Security Officers, Court Judges, District Attorneys, and Deputy D.A.s.

Just want to remind MIL folks that may still want to purchase from them. No matter what they tell you it is against military policy to allow a photo copy of your ID for them to retain. They can view it all day long in your presence, but again they are not allowed to make a photo copy of your ID. This will lead to trouble for you if you comply.

Thanks Sheriff

Well, I have done business in the past with DSS and found them to be an excellent source of products that we buy...however, I just sent them this email

Sirs,
It is my understanding that you have stopped selling self loading rifles to members of the general public in favor of selling them to law enforcement officers only.
I deeply regret that decision. As such, this agency will no longer seek bids from or purchase from DSS.
Thank you for your time and attention to this email.

I'm a law enforcement officer and I will not patronize this or any business that displays such a politically correct anti 2nd Ammendment stance.

I have spent the whole day spreading this news. Response has been the same in every case. (I will never step in that place again) Even the LE guys feel the same way.

I read your reply, looked at where your from, thought back to 1994 and remembered when local gun shops to you, who were just starting out or were the largest in the area, made the same decision. Now I fast forward to 2013 and would be willing to bet, you have been to that location numerous times over the past 18 years.

Maybe I went on bad days. Yes, days!, But I never saw a large inventory of firearms to start with. Looks like they took one of the guns in stock and shot them sleves in the foot
