I recently found some old bike week memorabilia that included a picture I took of Yvonne Duhammel and Kenny Roberts chatting in the pits. I've been fortunate to see some truly great riders in the past.

I can remember watching team Honda holding sheets around Spencer's bike after he developed an oil leak in practice and shielding onlookers from seeing the design technology of the spherical piston (which was super-duper secret)as they tore it down.

Wow, I'm really getting old but I cherish those days in Daytona before the yuppies discovered it. You could drive the entire beach while cruising for babes, go anywhere on the track and pits, and the racers didn't treat you like a stalker just because you wanted to get a pic. Y'all have fun and be safe!
