SSG Decrow took over for me as NCOIC in Korea and was supposed to come here to Fort Gordon to be an Instructor. His wife and kids were here waiting for him. As often happens, his orders got screwed up and he ended up at Fort Hood. He was a good dude that died too young. **** these bastards that want to mess with our boys. We need to start hitting back. This stuff has to stop.
Historical note: Gunfire at the Navy Yard used to be regular event, as the War Dept. tested small arms there. Abe Lincoln would often walk down to the Navy Yard and participate. He was a gun enthusiast.
