Down side is you still need a bcg, charging handle and muzzle device. Those items are $$$ if they're marked DD.

Yea I was thinking about that but still its nearly impossible to find a RIS II rail and its pretty hard to find the #10point3inchmasterrace too and even if you found them I'm almost sure you would be over $600-$700 bucks. Personally I'd rather get this upper and throw in a PSA or AIM BCG, a Geissele charging handle and an AAC muzzle device which I would more than likely be running anyways.

Just wish I got one of those 199 colt lowers to pair with it for a great mk18 clone for a very good price.

In my opinion, the Colt lower was a bust. Mine looks like a blem and should have been marked as such, so you probably saved yourself $200.

Eh I run my gun hards so I wasn't so worried about how off the rollmark was but I heard it was a mixed bag. For the price I couldn't complain. Like Wallace said I'd buy if you want to sell the lower.

I brought mine before the last batch, has a different serial number and was mint, not a blem, I paid about the same price or a few bucks more, money well spent and will be a fine base for my MK12 Mod 1
