2 parter question:

How is Deal of the Day determined? I thought it was after getting a certain # of "good deals" but I've seen ads with like 8 good deals that aren't DotD and then ads with 3 that are. Is there any algorithm or something or how is it given?

Secondly, is DotD ever going to make it on the front page again? It was a nice spotlight and honestly showed that there are (sometimes) still good deals on here

I loved this but it got hijacked and became more of a joke than a feature. The deal of the day on the front page was usually a dirty "unfired" $1,500 Glock or something similar. Same thing happened to "tags."

We have some work scheduled to be done to the site, I can look into turning this back on and see how it goes a second time around.
