Good thing you saw her go down. She woulda been tough to track!Sorry for the late post. It was hot and humid, but I went to a small tract of land that I have permission to hunt in Douglas County. I set up OTG on a small hardwood lot that bordered a big swamp. Water Oaks were dropping steadily and I jumped deer there on my way in. At 5:05 this doe steps out and makes a B-line for the Water Oaks. I let her tote a 220 grain Cor-Lokt from my 30/06 at 20 yards. Watched her go down-no tracking needed. It's been a slow season for me so this was a true blessing.
